Use this as a guide for what to pack. Each category is very important and every item is deeply appreciated by the child who receives it! (Click to download your packing list.)

Small toys:
Coloring books, crayons, dolls, small cars, dominoes, playing cards, jump ropes, balls (deflated with possibly a small pump & needle for a soccer ball or basketball), yo-yo's, stuffed animals, stickers, marbles, checkers, Etch A Sketch, etc.

School supplies:
Pens, pencils & sharpener, markers, spiral notebooks, solar calculator, rulers, erasers, etc.

Musical items:
Harmonica, recorder, kazoo, or small tambourine, etc.

Hygiene items:
Toothbrush, toothpaste, bar soap, washcloth, hand towel, hair brush, comb, nail file and clippers, deodorant, etc.

Clothing:
Socks and underwear (or undergarments), light-weight clothing (t-shirts, sundresses, shorts with elastic band) and braided belts (boys), flip-flop sandals, ball caps, sun visors, sunglasses, etc.

Other items:
Christmas card for the child that will receive your shoebox, your family photo, wristwatch, hair accessories (clips, barrettes, ribbons, elastics), costume jewelry, flashlight (with extra batteries or solar powered/wind-up), compact umbrella, etc.

Please do not send:
Medications or vitamins, candles, perishable foods, chocolate, liquids or lotions, no breakables or glass containers, aerosol cans, military items - such as toy guns, knives, or rubber snakes, etc.

Prayer:
The most important ingredient in your Christmas shoebox is prayer. The child that will receive your Christmas shoebox lives in the poorest country in the Western hemisphere. Your Christmas shoebox will be a great blessing and open their hearts to the love of Jesus.

Send or Deliver your Christmas shoebox

1. Address the Christmas shoebox to: New Missions, 8054 Presidents Drive, Orlando, FL 32809.
   
2. On the outside of the Christmas shoebox, please specify if your Christmas shoebox is designated for a boy or girl and the appropriate age. If your Christmas shoebox is for your sponsor child, please write your child's full name and child identification number on the outside of the Christmas shoebox. 3. To help cover the cost of overseas shipping, please include a donation of $5 inside the box, visible on top of the contents. Please make your check payable to New Missions. Please do not send cash.
